At INOGENI, our commitment to ESG is reflected in everything we do, including our rigorous Code of Conduct based on the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, to ensure that we operate in line with our values and our responsibilities to the environment and society, and that we have ethical governance. All our employees are bound by this code, which is also integrated into our Supplier Code of Conduct.

At INOGENI, we recognize that our role as a responsible company is to help create a better world, because environmental, social and governance concerns are at the heart of our decisions and actions. As a company that designs and manufactures technology products and operates through an international network of distributors and integrators, we have a responsibility to our stakeholders, including our customers, employees, suppliers, the communities in which we operate and the planet.

We are committed to a proactive and continuous improvement approach to ESG, through research, consultation and collaboration with our stakeholders to understand their concerns and incorporate their feedback into our policy and projects.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

INOGENI’s eco-friendly approach: Sustainability in action

  • We value local production
    • The company performs and manages engineering and manufacturing activities in Quebec and Canada, in compliance with applicable legal requirements for safety and sustainable development. This local manufacturing means that 97% of our production is completed with renewable energy. The “Made in Canada” label is recognized worldwide by our customers for both quality and safety reasons.
  • Reduce our environmental footprint by adopting sustainable natural resource management practices such as the 3Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle) and responsible design.
  • Reduce waste, greenhouse gas emissions, and water and energy consumption in our supply chain and our operations.
  • To maintain quality standards, and to protect users and the environment, INOGENI products comply with the following environmental, electromagnetic, and electrical standards: FCC, CE, RoSH, IEC62368, SoV, UKCA, RCM, and KC. We intend to adopt more advanced standards in the future, including the European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) standard, which governs the disposal of such waste.

INOGENI’s priority for good governance: to foster business success and social impact

Corporate governance is at the heart of our business. It guides our decisions in the face of complex challenges and opportunities. In a world where customers demand impeccable transparency and integrity, it is essential that we maintain rigorous and strategic governance practices.

Responsible governance is a key element of our corporate culture and business practices.

We believe that an ethical company is a sustainable company. Our goal is to establish and maintain fair and mutually beneficial long-term business relationships with our suppliers, customers and business partners. We are committed to ethical and legal business practices, and have adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.

As part of our commitment to responsible governance, we will:

  • Raise awareness among our staff and partners of a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption or any unfair influence relating to Canadian and international laws, and provide them with guidance;
  • Implement internal control mechanisms that ensure compliance with our ESG policies; and respect ethical principles and standards of professional conduct in all our operations.

Board of Directors:

We will establish a diversified Board of Directors, composed of qualified individuals from both inside and outside the company. The roles between the Chairman of the Board and General Management will be separated to prevent conflicts of interest.
