Return policy for dealers and distributors

Warranty

INOGENI guarantees the products against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five (5) years after the date of original purchase. During this period, INOGENI will, at its sole discretion, either: a) issue a credit note; b) repair the defective product; c) or replace the defective product with a new, recertified or equivalent product without charge.

The Warranty Period begins on the date of the end user’s original purchase from an authorized dealer or distributor. This warranty extends only to the original end user customer and is not assignable or transferable.

The following Warranty Periods apply:

  • 5 years(1): Products purchased by the end-user after August 1, 2024
  • 2 years: Products purchased by the end-user before August 1, 2024

(1) Exception for USB cable the warranty is 2 years.

Defective and damaged products

Any defective or damaged product(s) must be returned to INOGENI. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) is required for all return(s). Please contact support@inogeni.com for an RMA number and instructions for defective or damaged product(s). All products returned with a valid RMA number will be evaluated. Issuing an RMA number does not guarantee credit. If INOGENI considers a product to be defective and still under warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace the product or credit your account.  If INOGENI determines after evaluation that a returned product is free of defects, not originally defective (defective when taken out of its original packaging), or that the malfunction is the result of damage or misuse by the user, the product will be returned to the buyer with the applicable fees. The product(s) must be returned with all components sold with the device.

For products accepted for reasons other than a defect or error on the part of INOGENI, a standard 15% restocking fee will be charged. INOGENI must receive the product within 30 days of the invoice date. Product(s) must be returned in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code and SN code), including all packaging materials, manuals, and accessories, and in a condition that could be sold as new. The retail value of any free items you keep will be deducted from your refund. The shipping charges are not refundable. The return shipping cost is at the customer’s expense.

Shipping and export information

INOGENI will pay for shipping costs from the customer to INOGENI, provided the product is indeed under warranty, and there is no damage caused by improper installation or modification of the product. In case of repair or replacement, the shipping costs from INOGENI to the customer will be on INOGENI.

If you are unfamiliar with the export process from your location to Canada, please contact us before creating your shipment. INOGENI is not responsible for export/import fees if the export documents are not completed correctly. The package(s) will be refused and returned to the buyer if we must pay for the return of the units. Make sure to pack it properly so that your item is not damaged. No product returned in an envelope will be accepted. We recommend shipping via Best Way service with a tracking number. INOGENI will not be responsible for damaged or lost packages, so we suggest you insure your package.
